The recommendation to the Academic Council for granting the university’s approval mark (signature) is reviewed and endorsed at a meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University. The decision of the Scientific and Methodological Council is formalized as an extract from the meeting minutes (standard form) and submitted to the Secretary of the University Academic Council.

The following documents must be submitted for review by the Scientific and Methodological Council:

An electronic version of the manuscript (for compliance review, blind peer review at the university, and plagiarism check); All other documents are submitted after this first stage is completed.
Printed version of the manuscript;
Original copies of three officially certified reviews (2 external, 1 internal);
Copy of the relevant educational program;
Copy of the curriculum of the specialty;
Copy of the syllabus (working curriculum) of the academic discipline;
Extract from the departmental meeting with a recommendation for publication;
Extract from the faculty academic council meeting;
Proofreader’s conclusion from the editorial department.

Printed version of the manuscript;
Original copies of two internal reviews officially certified (one from the department where the author works, and one from a related department);
Extract from the departmental meeting recommending the manuscript for publication (must clearly state the type of publication);
