Student self-government

Student self-government is an integral part of public self-governance at the University. It is the right and opportunity of students to address matters related to education and everyday life, to protect their rights and interests, and to participate in the governance of the University.

Student self-government unites all students of the University. All students enrolled at the University have equal rights and may be elected to, and serve in representative, working, electoral, and other bodies of student self-government.

Student self-government ensures the protection of students’ rights and interests and their involvement in the governance of the University. It is carried out by the students directly and through student self-government bodies, which are elected by direct secret ballot.
