Veterans Development Center of the Zhytomyr Polytechnic state university is a part of the nationwide network of Veterans Development Centers established on the initiative of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, based on the joint order of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated May 25, 2023, No. 113/624 "On the Approval of Pilot Projects for the Establishment of a Network of Veterans Development Centers at Higher Education Institutions." The Center's mission is to consolidate the efforts of institutional actors contributing to the reintegration process through case management—individual support of veterans and war-disabled individuals in realizing their rights, entitlements, and state guarantees. This includes conducting educational sessions, providing scientific consultations, organizing and conducting courses, seminars, workshops, training sessions, internships, and employment-related events (such as forums, conferences, meetings), and offering educational services based on current business challenges, scientific advances, and international experience. It also involves training professionals in the field of "Organization of Work with War Veterans and Demobilized Individuals."
