Since 2011, the implementation of projects under the Tempus program has been ongoing: EU-PC double degree master program in automation/mechatronics 517138-TEMPUS-1-2011-1-CZTEMPUS-JPCR, “Double Master’s Degree in Automation/Mechatronics in EU Partner Countries”. The purpose of the project: to create an educational program for the training of masters in the specialty “Automation/Mechatronics” in accordance with European standards. Partners: Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic); Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria); Blaise Pascal University (France); National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (Ukraine); National Technical University “KhPI” (Ukraine); LLC “Scientific and Production Enterprise “KIA” (Ukraine).
Thanks to the project, students of Ukrainian universities will be able to receive a double diploma (from a Ukrainian university and one of the EU universities participating in the project) after successfully completing a master's degree course at the Technical University of Liberec or at the Technical University of Sofia, or at the Blaise Pascal University. Within the framework of this project, in 2012-2013, a working group from the department visited the Blaise Pascal University (Clermont-Ferrand, France). In 2013-2014, three masters successfully defended their master's theses at the Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria):
Denisyuk M.V. (master's thesis topic: Research of automated optical accelerometer, supervisor Christiana Nikolova, as.prof., Bulgaria);
Myhalenko V.S. (master's thesis topic: Research of automated capacitive accelerometer, supervisor Vasil Bogev, prof., Bulgaria);
Shpin D.Yu. (topic of master's thesis: Artificial satellite orientation control with predictive models of disturbances and Earth's magnetic field, supervisor Vasil Bogev, prof., Bulgaria).
Since 2013, the department has agreements on scientific and academic cooperation with the Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic) and the Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria).
Since the beginning of the implementation of the program 2201250 “Training, internship, advanced training of students, postgraduates, scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers abroad” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, students, postgraduates and teachers of the university have been studying/internship within the framework of this program on the basis of leading universities in the world.
In 2013, Ph.D. Koval A.V. won a grant and completed an internship at the Free University of Brussels (Brussels, Belgium) on the topic “Micro-UAV control” in the scientific direction “Aviation and rocket and space technology”.
In 2015 - 2016, Ph.D. Koval A.V. conducted scientific research within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 ACTIVE project at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). The topic of cooperation: “Micro-UAV control”.
Within the framework of the implementation of the academic mobility program Erasmus Mundus 545653-EM-1-2013-1-PL-ERA MUNDUS-EMA21 “Initiative of Technical Universities of the Caucasus and Atlantic Regions in Ensuring High Educational Standards” (2013-2017), teachers, postgraduate students and students undergo internships and training, respectively, at partner universities of EU countries.
Also within the framework of the Erasmus student mobility program in 2017-2020, 8 students of the specialty completed a semester of study at the University of the Basque Country, Spain. They were involved in working in the laboratory, where they worked on their own projects.
